We have found that stump grinding is the most efficient form of stump removal. The tree stump can be ground up to 12 inches below the ground, which is an adequate depth for laying a lawn or concreting over the area. Stump Grinding can be done at any time of year. Smaller stumps can be removed by hand, though the majority will require the use of specialist equipment. Stump grinding avoids the need to dig and disturb the surrounding ground and minimizes the size of the hole.
